WINERY LEO HILLINGER

Surrounded by vineyards, with a grand view of the Leitha Range and Lake Neusiedl… It is an extraordinary place and a special location. With more than one hundred hectares of vineyards, Weingut Leo HILLINGER is now one of the largest organic wine producers in the top-quality segment in Austria. n harmony with nature, unmistakable wines are created here, which present themselves in five categories as ideal companions for all situations in life: Sparkling, Fresh & Fruit-forward, Trendy, Earthy, and Premium. The high quality of the wines is based above all on the combination of organic cultivation with modern, very gentle cellar technology.

In 2004, Leo HILLINGER fulfilled his dream of owning his own modern winery. Its location was not chosen at random. From here, everything that characterises his wine is in view: the Leitha Range, Lake Neusiedl and the distant plain where the lake seems to disappear. It’s not just that the wine that is made on Hill 1… The wine is also lived here – in the cellar built into the hillside and in the rooms above. Leo Hillinger and his team are happy to provide exciting insights into this world of wine. During guided tours, tastings or excursions into the vineyards. At and around Hill 1, everything revolves around wine, joie de vivre and a special kind of enjoyment. Step through the door into the Leo HILLINGER winery and experience ‘more than wine’!

Leo Hillinger has always been committed to helping out wherever and whenever help is needed. From Jois to South Africa, from his own sports club to the partnership with Austrian Cancer Aid.
