In June holy dignitaries honoured the winery. The bishop of the Archdiocese Eisenstadt, Dr. Paul Iby, found his way to excellent wines and paid a very enjoyable visit to the winery accompanied by more than 60 staff members of the diocese. Arriving in the afternoon and served with a cool aperitif, the Secco sparkling wine, they marvelled at the modern winery with great interest. Quite naturally the following wine tasting session was accompanied by culinary treats. The philosophic and social get-together lasted into the late evening and – it became quite clear – tradition and state of the art goes well together! We were greatly honoured to have the bishop Dr. Iby visit us.
